Some recipes suggest adding saffron at the time of serving to rice, pasta, potatoes and soups.
To be used in doughs it must be soaked in water for at least 2 hours to release its color.
Also it goes well with various vegetables, roots & mushrooms.

For a saffron drink you need 5-8 filaments for each cup.
1gr / 0.035oz is a quantity enough to use for 6-10 doses depending on the food recipes.
