Aroma & Taste

Its well balanced bitter sweet taste combined with intense green aromas make it the ideal choice for an energy boost whenever you need it.

It’s also popular to mix it up with steamed milk for an everyday matcha latte, enjoyed like you would a morning cup of coffee.

Cooking & Pastry Uses

Lately it is one of the hottest trends in gastronomy, with chefs prefer it for their desserts, but also for some savory dishes, sauces, smoothies, up to pancakes, ice cream, muffins, brownies, creams, soups and much more still, all with the characteristic green color.

Mix matcha tea powder with coarse sea salt and use to season fish or other foods.

Brewing Instructions

Using the bamboo tea scoop, measure out 1 ½ tea scoops
(about 1gr / 0.04oz or 1 tea spoon) of matcha powder into the matcha bowl.

Add water and using the bamboo whisk, whisk rapidly until tea is
dissolved and liquid is topped with a light colored foam.

Zig zag patterns and concentrating the whisk on the center
of the bowl works best.

A Small Tip

Water temperature maximum of 175°F/ 80°C, not boiling.Allow boiling water to cool or your matcha tea will taste bitter.

Also should be consumed soon after preparation to avoid bitterness.

Most people leave this step out whenever they make any type of tea, but it’s actually pretty important to the best cup of tea.

Tea should be enjoyed at exactly the proper temperature.

When hot water is poured into a cold cup it will begin to cool quickly, which doesn’t allow the blend to steep properly.

Storage : keep it  in a cool & dry place.
